AUTOMATION TALKS: NOVEMBER 18, 2026 - 2PM CET / 8AM EST
How Champagne Gosset automated its end of line with a Robotiq Palletizing Workcell
Behind the scenes of automated palletizing at Champagne's oldest wine house
How Champagne's oldest wine house took 2 to 5 tonnes of cases a day off its operators' shoulders
Founded in 1584, Champagne Gosset was still palletizing by hand. The job was physically demanding, carried a high risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), and was hard to fill. Today, a Palletizing Workcell does this work alongside the team, with no safety cage. It was integrated quickly in a tight workshop with a low ceiling.
In this webinar, we take an open look at how the project went. You’ll also get an exclusive first look at the case study video.
What you'll learn
- The starting point: why Champagne Gosset decided to automate its palletizing
- A solution that adapts to the House, not the other way around: limited space, multiple formats, cases placed on edge, two pallets at once
- Testing before committing: how the Palletizing Workcell loan period went on the actual production line
- Up and running in a few hours: operators who create and adjust their own palletizing recipes
- The impact of the team: health, engagement and staff retention at the end of the line
- Your questions, live, answered by the people who led the project
